Bummer!

The ceramics studio that I've been studying at is moving in September and they will be too far away to visit until I have my Israeli driver's license. But right across the street from them here in Jaffa (also spelled Yafo), there's another studio and I start studying there tonight. I'm very excited. Jorge, at the new studio, uses high fired clay, such as stoneware, rather than the low fired clay that I've been using at the original studio. And stoneware would seem to be a bit sturdier and therefore more suited to yarn bowls. Now, if I can only learn to center the damned clay on the wheel!
